The collection is showcased at Serapian's headquarter of Villa Mozart in Milan during Fashion Week, through an immersive installation created by Venetian artist Lorenzo Vitturi. This collaboration brings to life the idea of Merging Islands, a fusion of concepts and craftsmanship techniques that was debuted in Tokyo with Villa Serapian Ginza and continues with this exhibition. The installation presents a replica of Vitturi’s Venetian atelier, a unique experience recreated at Villa Mozart to transport the Venetian atmosphere to Milan. Vitturi's artistic vision blends with Serapian's craftsmanship, creating a unique experience that explores the collection through three rooms.
The first room features wooden islands showcasing five sculptural totems representing the islands of the Venetian Lagoon. The second room recreates Vitturi's Murano atelier, showcasing traditional glass blowing techniques and four special edition creations fusing leather and glass. The final display features an imposing piece of art in glass and wool, reflecting Vitturi's exploration of organic materials.
The Mosaico collection culminates in the Mestieri d'Arte series, where black and white geometries are integrated into traditional styles, including Travel bags, perfect for stylish travelers.
