SERAPIAN PRESENTS Outside the box COLLECTION AT PITTI IMMAGINE
Milan, January 2016 - Historic Milanese luxury leather goods brand Serapian is going to Pitti 89 with new creations from its men’s collection for Autumn/Winter 2016-2017.
They include two caramel colour models designed for different needs: one is a shopper/briefcase for daywear that’s been given a new and more contemporary look by softening up the lines of the classic attaché case to make it more casual chic, while the other is a holdall that’s the perfect companion for deluxe comfort weekends.
Thanks to the practical construction of “twins” on the sides, both models can be used either in the hand or over the shoulder.
This pair of bags feature a mix of leathers reflecting the collection’s luxury side: soft yet strong cashmere calfskin is used for the “shell” enclosing a prestige, tone-on-tone smooth calfskin.
The handmade details and finishes once again confirm the technical excellence of a brand that only produces Made in Italy bags, the fruit of its expert craftsmanship and experimentation with contemporary forms.
These are urban accessories for a man who likes to blur formal and informal. They are made with leathers that give the professional a leisure look using an idiom that’s apparently very sober but is in fact highly sophisticated.
The Serapian collection will be available in its single-brand boutiques in Milan, Venice, Rome, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Doha (opening soon), while the brand is also distributed in the wholesale channel in some 25 countries, through around 100 multi-brand stores like La Rinascente in Milan, Luisa Via Roma, Barney’s in New York, Bloomingdale’s, Harrods in London, Takashimaya and Isetan in Japan and Tsum in Moscow. It also sells via its e-commerce site serapian.com and on Net-à-Porter.
